Original - Wilson Hyper Sledge Hammer 120 Squash Racquet
DescriptionHyper Carbon construction creates ultra-stiffness in an ultralite frame for phenomenal maneuverability.
Patented Hammer System® technology creates an ultralite racquet with a head-heavy balance point for quick, driving power and maneuverability.
Power Holes technology allows the strings to move more freely at impact. This trampoline effect generates a significant increase in power, even on off-center hits.
Unique Sledge Hammer headshape elongates the mainstrings for added power.
HEADSIZE: 77.5 sq.in.
WEIGHT: 120 grams
Our test results: Wilson Hyper Hammers are the stiffest racquets around, they feel very crisp and precise.
I liked Wilson Hyper Hammer 120, much more than the other ultralight racquets of that weight. The HSH 120 felt great when I played shots, low racqiet weight improved my accuracy.
Power and maneuverability were excellent, but I had a bit of trouble controlling the ball on the drives, I just was not used to that weight.
I love the shape of the Wilson octagonal grip, I think is optimal. It is not too flat and oval, like Prince grips,
and not too big and square like Head grips.
Factory stringing on all Wilsons this year is improved,
they are strung with Sensation Strike 17 gauge string that plays absolutely great.
The power is excellent, and it grips the ball as well, if not better than Supernick.
The Power Holes feature on Wilson racquets works wonders on returning a tight drive.
It allows for surprising power, and your drive comes back tight. I never played with a racquet
that does that until I picked up the Wilson.
Also this racquet seems to be the most durable among ultra light racquets.
