Nodal Enhancement Rather than the traditional uniform or tapered frame cross-section, Ashaway rackets employ strategically positioned nodes to effectively "tune" the frame for optimum results: Power Node - positioned to amplify the effect of 6 main strings, this node stiffens and reinforces the frame at the 12 o'clock position. Control Nodes - positioned to support the strings at the heart of the sweatspot.
Stabilization Nodes - stiffen and solidify the frame at key points to create a more stable impact for the hit.

Full Motion string holes (20)
Complementing the Power and Control Nodes, 20 string holes have been enlarged to allow the strings to pivot against the outside of the frame rather than the inside, adding up to 2 cm of active string length.
